Tulum Tour

This is your chance to explore one of the most representative Mayan ruins in the region, second only to the city of Chichen Itza. This amazing archeological site has ancient buildings of what was an important economic, military and religious hub. Tulum lies a top of a cliff overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. To reach it you must go on a hike. You will be amazed by the views and you will learn from the bilingual guide the details of this magnificent Mayan site. There is an access to the beach from here through a wooden staircase where you can swim or dip your feet. Make sure to bring your swimsuit and a towel if you are planning to take this opportunity to enjoy this Caribbean paradise.

  • Transportation on a “tractor train” from the parking lot of Tulum to the ruins (0.62 miles). The “tractor train” in Tulum is run by an external party, so the agency, the transportation company and its representatives shall not be liable in any way for losses, accidents, injuries, damages, and schedule changes that may occur on this transport.
  • An exclusive photomontage with a picture of you with the archaeological site of Tulum in the background. Only for travelers departing from Cancun. If you’re taking the tour on Saturday or Sunday, you will get your photo by e-mail, not printed as usual.

 

Additional Information:

  • Pick-up and drop-off times depend on the location of your hotel (or meeting point)
  • Your pick-up/drop-off schedule is sent by email after booking

Recommendation:

  • Bring cash, either dollars or pesos
  • Travel light. Leave heavy bags at the hotel
  • Wear comfortable clothes, shoes, and sunglasses
  • Bring a cap or a hat to protect you from the sun
  • Use biodegradable sunscreen to be eco-friendly with the environment
  • Bring your own camera and a waterproof case if you want to go down the beach
  • IMPORTANT: Keep in mind Tulum lies on top of a cliff and to reach it you must be able to go on a hike.
