Xcaret

What is Xcaret? Well, is just one of the largest ecological parks of the world! That’s all! Located a few miles down Playa de Carmen and about an hour from Cancun, this amazing place if one of the most popular activities you can do when you come for vacations! Here you will find a Mayan archeological site, underground rivers, amazing shows about our ancient culture and even aquariums with giant sea turtles. The park even has a preservation program to protect the local wildlife.

Xcaret also has restaurants, shops, access to the beach and natural pools, and many other activities! You can choose between paying just the admission fee or a Plus package that includes lockers, snorkel equipment, buffet lunch, and drinks.

Admission Only Includes:

Entrance to Xcaret Park:

• Swimming in the underground river
• Shows, exhibitions and cultural activities
• Access to beaches, bays and natural pools
• Life jackets and inner tubes, lounge chairs, hammocks and rest areas
• Safety bag service during the river journey
• Restrooms, dressing rooms and showers
• Entrance to the show “Xcaret Mexico Espectacular”, a musical journey through the history of Mexico

Admission Only does not include:

• Transportation
• Additional activities in Xcaret
• Food or beverages
• Souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, etc
• Photo or video services
• Tips
  Use of lockers and/or snorkel gear
• Any other service or product not mentioned on the inclusions list

Plus Package additionally includes:

• Use of snorkeling equipment and lockers
• Buffet lunch including 1 beer and unlimited beverages (soft drinks, water, and coffee) at lunch time

Additional Information / Recommendations:

• The minimum age for certain activities is 6 *
• Kids up to 59 cm tall or under 4 years old enter free*
• Children from 1.00 m to 1.40 m pay children fee*
• Children taller than 1.40 m but under 12 years old must present a valid ID with photo to verify their age

Suggestions:

• Wear comfortable beachwear, swimming shoes and a swimsuit
• Bring an extra set of clothes
• Your sunscreen lotion must be free of chemicals to be used in Xcaret. If your sunscreen lotion contains any of the following ingredients it shall not be used within the park: benzophenone, etilhexil, homosalate, octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, octinoxate, oxybenzone, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (sunscreen free of all these chemicals is sold at the park)
• Bring some cash and a credit or debit card since the use of certain equipment requires a deposit or to pay for any other service not mentioned on the inclusions list
